Search for deceased people - tips
The basic search help article covers all the most common issues, but sometimes you need a little bit more power. This document will highlight the more advanced features of Sysoon Search. Have in mind though that even very advanced searchers, such as the members at Sysoon, use these features less than 10% of the time. Basic simple search is often enough.
- Search by name and birth or death year (YYYY format)
- Michael Jackson 2009 - to search for Michael Jackson in 2009
- Search by name and the age of deceased (YY or YYY format)
- Michael Jackson 50 - to search for Michael Jackson, 50 years old
- Search by social security number(NNNNNNNNN format)
- 303625728 - to search for Michael Jackson by his social security number
- Search for anniversary:
- Search for anniversary: the next or previous days (add (+/-) and a number of days):
- b:today+1 - birth anniversary tomorrow (any year)
- d:today+2 - death anniversary in 2 days (any year)
- b:today-1 - birth anniversary yeasterday (any year)
- b:today-2 - 2 days before (any year)
- b:today+1 1976 - tomorrow - who was born in 1976 year
- d:today+2 1988 - in 2 days who died in 1976 year
