In general parlance, family typically refers to the parents and children living together whereas relatives refer to the members of the extended family including grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Joseph Mod, son of the late Susan and Louis Mod, brother of Suzanne Carl (Siggi), Elizabeth Borosdy (Ben), John Mod (Marta Borrevi), and Louis Mod Jr. Joe lived at 3805 West 32nd Place, and later at 3787 West 37th Street 44109. Joe attended Denison Elementary school, Thomas Jefferson Jr. High School and West Technical High School (class of 1960). Joe joined the Army after high school and served for 3 years. He then worked in downtown Cleveland at the Illuminating Building as Maintenance Manager. Later he worked at Modern Building Center. He passed away on April 7, 1987, and will forever be loved and missed by friends and family.
