I cannot say, and will not say that he is dead. He is just away. There is something to be said for first love. Ben was an absolute sweetheart. I loved him dearly. As we grew older our lives more or less drifted in other directions. (Ben moved to the Chicago area.) But distance did not hinder how I felt about this guy. He will always be my special someone till time is no more. Now that may come off as sounding "sappy" but I really don't care. Ben was one in a million.
